Setting parameters for interfaces

Follow these instructions to set parameters that affect JAMIS e-timecard imports and exports. You can click on any parameter link to read a more detailed explanation.

To set interface parameters

1. From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Application Setup, click Parameter setup. Or, from the top of any JAMIS Administration screen, click Application Setup > Parameter Setup. The Parameter Setup screen appears.

2. Click the Interfaces tab.

3. Enter a suspense code for each item where you want to replace an invalid code during third-party imports. You can enter any of the following suspense codes.

   • job number

   • earning code

   • cost element

   • org9

   • location

   • contract labor category

   • work order

4. The Export time cards with zero hours check box defaults to turned off. Turn on this check box to include time cards that have zero hours in exports.

5. Click Save.
