If your approver has entered instructions for a job that is in your personal job list, you can review the job instructions. Depending on your administrator's settings, you may also be able to append the instructions with your own comments about your progress on the job. The following steps explain how to do both.
To review and modify job instructions
Do one of the following.
From the Time Card screen, place your cursor on the line that contains the job that you want to review or modify instructions for, then click Instructions.
From the Manage Personal Job List (user-defined label) screen under My Settings, or the Look Up Personal Job List (user-defined label) screen for selecting multiple jobs, click to the left of the job that you want to review or modify instructions for. The icon appears this way for any job for which an approver has already entered instructions.
From the View Summary screen, click to the left of the job that you want to review or modify instructions for.
The Job Instructions (user-defined label) screen appears.
Review the text in the Job Instructions (user-defined label) field. You can also review other information for the job, such as a detailed description and the org9.
If desired, click Print to print a hard copy of the job instructions.
If you are allowed to modify the instructions, then you will see an OK button at the bottom of the screen and a cursor flashing in the Job Instructions field. If you are not allowed to modify the instructions, or if you do not wish to modify the instructions, click Cancel and skip the remaining steps.
Type your entry in the Job Instructions field.
Click OK. The previous screen reappears.
