Integrating jobs with JAMIS

You import JAMIS master data through the Import from JAMIS program. The import builds the job master table by using the JCJOBMFI file and bringing in only active, open jobs.

Each time that you run a subsequent import from JAMIS, the program adds new jobs and updates existing jobs. There are three fields on the Job Master screen that e-timecard may, or may not, retain regardless of the settings in the JAMIS Job Master. They are:

• Org9

• Manager

• Description

You determine whether to retain or overwrite these fields each time that you import from JAMIS.
