Integrating employee records with JAMIS

You import JAMIS master data by using the Import from JAMIS program. The program loads all employees, regardless of their status, from the JAMIS Employee Master file (PREMPFIL) unless you set the XTRATIMEDS field in JAMIS to any value other than zero. Once you run the import, e-timecard does not allow time entry for any employee whose status is not Active.

Each time that you run the import from JAMIS, the program adds new employees and updates existing employees. There are four fields in the e-timecard Employee Master that e-timecard may, or may not, retain regardless of the settings in the JAMIS Employee Master. They are:

• Org9

• Manager ID

• Location

• Approver

You determine whether to retain or overwrite these fields each time that you import from JAMIS.
