File order when importing from JAMIS or a third-party product

The interface from JAMIS or a third-party product is the mechanism that you use to populate the database in the format that e-timecard requires. Before you run the initial import, you must build the following files in the order specified. The order is critical.

1. Company file

2. Parameters

3. e-timecard initialization

Run the first import from JAMIS or a third-party product.

Then, build the following files in the order specified.

1. Time card schedules

2. Time card profiles

3. Holiday schedules

4. Reason codes

5. Job assignment codes (necessary only if you select Implement Job Assignment in the Initialization file)
