Quick start: Entering labor data


To enter labor data

  1. On the Time Card screen, do one of the following on the first blank line to enter a job.

  1. Select a pay code from the dropdown list, or select Search to look up the code if you don't see the one that you are looking for. To use the default pay code, simply accept the code that e-timecard inserts when you enter a job.

  2. Enter your hours under the correct day for this job.

  3. If your company’s setup lets you make entries in any of the following fields in the Extra Information area, type the correct code or click Look Up to the right of the field to look it up.

  1. To enter additional jobs, repeat from step 1.

  2. When you finish entering all hours, click Save.

  3. Then, when you are done entering labor data for the period, submit your time card.
