Quick start: Delegating e-timecard approval


To delegate e-timecard approval

  1. From any approval screen, click the Delegate tab. Or, from the upper-left of any application screen, click Time Card > Approval View > Delegate. The Delegate Approval screen appears.

  2. Select the approver from the Select Delegate dropdown list. If necessary, select Search from the dropdown list to look up the approver.

  3. If you see Include check boxes under the Select Delegate dropdown list, click the e-timecard check box. Click the e-xpense check box as well, if you wish.

  4. Enter the from and through dates for the delegation. You can select a date from a calendar by clicking Date Picker to the right of either date field.

  5. Select the reason why you are delegating your authority from the dropdown list.

  6. Click Add to create the delegation.

  7. Click Save to commit the delegation.
