Depending on your company's setup, a display-only Budget Hours (user-defined label) field may appear in the Extra Information area of the Edit Time Card screen.
The Budget Hours field tells you how many hours are remaining in the budget for the job number and other codes that you entered on the time card line.
Your company's setup determines whether you are allowed to charge over the budgeted hours. If your entry must stay within the budget and you enter more than the budgeted hours, then an error appears when you save or submit.
If the Budget Hours field does not display a value,then no budget hours are set up for the codes on the time card line, and you can enter as many hours as needed.
