Integrating earning codes with JAMIS

You import JAMIS master data by using the Import from JAMIS program. The import uses the LDEDCD file to build the earning codes.

The program rebuilds the earning code table during each subsequent import. This means, if you make changes to earning codes within e-timecard, future imports overwrite these changes. Make sure that you make any permanent changes in JAMIS.

Warning: Do not create new earning codes manually if you are integrated with JAMIS. Each time you run the import, it overwrites any new codes that you create in e-timecard.

After the initial import, you can make the settings for straight time and holiday. You can’t make these settings in JAMIS. Subsequent imports do not require you to make these settings again unless you entered new payroll earning codes in JAMIS.
