Deleting contract labor category maps
You can delete a link between a labor category and a cost element or employee.
To delete a contract labor category map
From the Labor Categories screen, click CTLC Mapping to the right of an editable labor category record. The Labor Category Mapping screen appears.
Note that if you access labor category mapping this way, then the labor category table defaults in the Filters section, and you can’t change it.
In the Filters section, enter one or more search criteria for the labor category map that you want to delete. Your filter choices are: labor category table, labor category code, cost element/employee, code/ID, and effective date.
Hints: You can enter partial information in a filter field, such as 1 to retrieve maps for all labor categories that begin with 1, or %1 to retrieve maps for all labor categories that contain the number 1. You can leave all filter fields blank to retrieve all labor category maps. You can look up cost elements and employees by clicking to the right of the Code/ID field.
Click Retrieve to list labor category mapping records that match the criteria you entered. The results appear in the bottom section of the screen.
If needed, scroll to find the labor category map that you want to delete. JAMIS displays the records in ascending order by labor category table. You can sort the list differently by clicking the appropriate column heading once or twice.
Click Delete to the left of the labor category map that you want to delete. A message asks you to confirm that you want to delete this labor category map.
Click OK to commit your deletion.
Repeat the appropriate steps as needed to delete additional labor category mapping records.
