Deleting an org9
These steps tell you how to delete an org9.
Warning: To delete an org9, you must first change any employees and jobs that reference it to a different org9.
To delete an org9
From the JAMIS Administration home page > Setup tab, under Master Files, click Organizations. Or, from the top of any JAMIS Administration screen, click Master Files > Organizations. The Org9 Setup screen appears.
In the Filters section, enter one or more search criteria for the org9 that you want to delete. Your filter choices are: org9 code, description, manager ID.
Hints: You can enter partial information in a filter field, such as 1 to retrieve all org9 codes that begin with 1, or %1 to retrieve all org9 codes that contain the number 1. You can click to the right of the Manager ID field to look up valid IDs. You can leave all filter fields blank to retrieve all org9 records.
Click Retrieve to list org9 records that match the criteria you entered. The results appear in the bottom section of the screen.
If needed, scroll to find the org9 that you want to delete. JAMIS displays the records in ascending order by org9 code. You can sort the list differently by clicking the appropriate column heading once or twice.
Click Delete to the left of the org9 that you want to delete. A message asks you to confirm that you want to delete this org9.
Click OK to commit your deletion.
Repeat the appropriate steps as needed to delete additional org9 records.
