Allowing an employee lookup in mass entry
For security reasons, you may want to restrict group timekeepers from looking up employees. Perhaps your company policy requires group timekeepers to enter only the employee IDs that are on the paper time cards that you provide them with. If this is the case, then you can turn off the Allow employee lookups in mass entry check box.
If this box is not checked, then the group timekeeper must manually enter an employee ID on the Mass Enter Time Cards or Mass Amend Time Cards screen in order to retrieve time cards.
The default for this field is turned on.
Hint: If you want to allow group timekeepers to retrieve a list of all employees for the org9 that they enter, then the Allow employee lookups in mass entry box must be checked.
