Employee salary information is not required in order to save the record, and e-timecard does not use the salary data. If you wish to enter optional salary information for an employee for your own record-keeping purposes, follow these steps.
To set salary information for an employee
On the Employee Details screen, click the Salary tab.
Enter a rate amount for the employee in one of the following three fields.
Yearly Salary
Pay Period Salary
Hourly Rate
Based on your entry here and on the hours and pay frequency data that you entered in the employee type record, e-timecard calculates and displays the other two salary fields.
The job distribution rate defaults to the hourly rate. You can change it if you wish.
Click Save to commit your entries under all Employee Details tabs.
