Preventing approvers from updating job lists


You have the option to prevent approvers from updating their employees’ personal job lists. You will find this useful if your company wishes to have employees perform all management of their own job lists, rather than approvers.

To prevent approvers from updating or viewing employee personal job lists, go to the Parameter Setup screen, Approvals tab, and turn on the Approvers cannot modify employees’ personal job lists check box. When you do this, no approvers in your company will see either the Employee Job List tab or the Employee Job List menu item at the top of the screen.

The default for Approvers cannot modify employees’ personal job lists is turned off, meaning that approvers have update and view access to their employees’ personal job lists. You must turn on the check box to prevent approver access to job lists.
